I found some great deals on new wedding invitations!

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. When I started browsing the internet I found so many beautiful wedding and reception accessories for almost any type of wedding you could imagine. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. They have summer and spring designs to choose from that are just awesome. I saw gorgeous new wedding collections for all seasons. The season that was amazing was the winter season because of all the Christmas colors and decorations you can add to your reception. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.

There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. Everybody probably feels like they’re eploping too. You can choose from a terrific new favor selection - they have everything from old style weddings to long distance weddings.

Soon my daughter will be getting married and I have been helping her to prepare for her country western wedding and reception. At first I thought that idea was just a little out there, but the more we got into the actual planning, the more I liked it. My daughter found all the western accessories to plan her wedding and make it a success. They had a style of there own. To make the atmosphere more western she put some hay bales, set up barbecue grills around and even hired a country western band. She plans to string lights and lanterns everywhere outside for her big country reception party. She order western place card holders and watercans for the centerpieces and put flowers in them. It amazed me when I found out that they were having the wedding at a ranch because I never heard of renting one for a special occasion before. She purchased many wedding and reception embellishments on the internet and they went with the country western style. She also purchased cowboy hats for herself and her groom and the most adorable new wedding favors for her guests.

She has everything all planned out to be more of a huge family cookout, hayride, picnic type of reception. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? So, I’ve decided to get on the band wagon and go shopping for a pair of cowboy boots, hat and blue jeans and get ready to celebrate this wedding the country way. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

I’m in love with these new weddings!

Things sure have changed since my wedding day, especially the fantastic accessories and reception supplies available. When I started browsing the internet I found so many beautiful wedding and reception accessories for almost any type of wedding you could imagine. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. They have summer and spring designs to choose from that are just awesome. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I’d rather have my winter wonderland wedding and reception, indoors, where it’s warm. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.

There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. With all the gorgeous colors and the pumpkins, gourds and just the fresh clean smell in the air, the fall season seems to me to be the best season for a wedding. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Today there are so many various weddings you can plan, that you can have the wedding you always wanted. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. You can find a new favor for all your wedding planning from a customary wedding to an out of town wedding

In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. At first I thought that idea was just a little out there, but the more we got into the actual planning, the more I liked it. My daughter found all the western accessories to plan her wedding and make it a success. They had a style of there own. She hired a country band and placed grills and hay around for the party setting. For the reception, she is going to put lights and lanterns all over. Also she purchased centerpieces and name card holders that are western style. It amazed me when I found out that they were having the wedding at a ranch because I never heard of renting one for a special occasion before. She purchased many wedding and reception embellishments on the internet and they went with the country western style. She ordered delightful new wedding invitations for all their friends and family and cowboy hats for the bride and groom.

She has everything all planned out to be more of a huge family cookout, hayride, picnic type of reception. I know it will be a lot of fun and enjoyment for everybody. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

Making the right choice when it comes to wedding gifts

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

I put a lot of thought about the theme for our wedding ceremony and reception. I liked the idea of a beach wedding, but a garden wedding or country western theme sounded pretty great too. But I also considered having a traditional wedding. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. The islands of Hawaii would definitely be my first choice. But I had to give that plan up, too many people wouldn’t be able to travel that far.
Then I thought about a winter themed wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So I finally made up my mind. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. All of the groomsmen and the ring boy looked so handsome in their tuxes, but the best looking one of all, was my regal prince. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I was able to find all the accessories I needed for this special themed wedding and some very lovely wedding favors for our friends and family. I had every unique wedding favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I decided on little coaches for place card holders and the gorgeous place card holders that looked just like Cinderella coach. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. A fairy tale wedding was a great idea, and it really helped to be able to have such fantastic accessories to choose from. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. Everything at our reception was in a fairytale theme, even our cake, so I wanted themed wedding gift boxes too. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon, I got started on all the thank you notes I needed to mail out. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.

When you’re looking for a unique wedding favor…

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

I put a lot of thought about the theme for our wedding ceremony and reception. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? The islands of Hawaii would definitely be my first choice. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But a wedding in July just didn’t seem like the right time to do a winter theme. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So my decision was made. We can declare a royal wedding.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. Then I started choosing my wedding and reception accessories and supplies. My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the bridesmaids and flower girl had beautiful dresses that were floor length. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I had every unique wedding favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. One of my guests said it was the most beautiful ceremony she’d ever been too. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. I made sure their favors for wedding were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. Would you believe I even found fairytale thank you notes for everyone? I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?

Making the right choice when it comes to favors for wedding

I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I liked the idea of a beach wedding, but a garden wedding or country western theme sounded pretty great too. But I also considered having a traditional wedding. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. A destination wedding in Vegas or maybe the gorgeous oceanside in Hawaii sounded awesome. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But I had to give that plan up, too many people wouldn’t be able to travel that far.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But a wedding in July just didn’t seem like the right time to do a winter theme. So I decided to go with every young girls dream of marrying a prince, and chose to have a storybook wedding, just like in the fairy tales I read as a child. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. I also found a place to get the perfect fairy tale wedding cake for a gorgeous royal wedding. So I finally made up my mind. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. Our wedding ceremony was more beautiful than I could have hoped for. All of the gorgeous décor only added to the beauty of our ceremony. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
There were accessories that helped me to make our reception appear as elegant as a king’s castle. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding favor. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. If I do say so myself, it was quite spectacular. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. I made sure their favors for wedding were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I wanted our guests to leave with something that would remind them of this special day. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon, I got started on all the thank you notes I needed to mail out. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. I wouldn’t mind having a fairytale anniversary renewal ceremony.
